I'm passionate about empowering people to feel confident with their English speaking and writing.

I have 15 years' experience teaching English and Spanish and I run tailored language programs for professionals in HR, Operations, Sales, Sustainability, and Tourism.

I love to connect with people from all over the world, and I work hard to make each learning experience enjoyable, meaningful, and aligned with people's goals.

I'm originally from London but live in beautiful Cape Town, where you will no doubt find me on the mountain!

My classes are practical

"Adults don't learn from experience, they learn in it (Wilson, 1993)." My online classes therefore involve real-life practical tasks like writing a proposal or having an interview.

I believe teaching is adaptable

Each time I run a course, I make sure the materials, tasks and feedback are highly personalized. I want to really understand and adapt to each team or individual's specific needs & interests.

We are all experts

I learn a lot from my students! I see each person as an expert and encourage group sharing of best practice and feedback, so we can learn from each other's writing.
